Matthias Arnt of Lichtecht Architecture creates some of the worlds best architectural concepts and visualisations. His work takes conceptual design to the next level, he balances a line between believability and surrealism. Lichtecht has a distinct advantage of most visualisation firms in that they are also a crew of architects - rather than just being high end illustrators. The work takes on a new layer of depth and conviction due to the care and knowledge used to create each piece. Admittedly I’ve become almost obsessed with following what they are working on and intrigued to see what wonders they will bring to life in the future.
Revugia is a minimalist spa and wellness retreat in the middle of Germany’s Black Forest and Harz Mountains. Lichtecht was given the task to visualise the Hotel architecture in the most photorealistic way possible. Arndt's team have created a an awe-inspiring set of images that give you the impression it already exists. The resort is made up of multiple minimalist cabins and treehouses which have little impact upon the environment. The German developer TIDEVAND Bau is set to bring the design to life using wood, natural stone and glass.
I know right!
That house is ASTOUNDING.
